Working principle of Yongte Conical Twin Screw Extruder Machine


  • The screw rotates to push the material: the two conical screws rotate in the same direction in the barrel, so that the material moves along the axial direction of the screw under the push of the screw. At the same time, due to the conical structure of the screw, the material will also be subjected to radial extrusion force during the movement.
  • Shearing and mixing effect: During the rotation of the screw, the material will be sheared by the screw thread, which will crush, disperse and mix the material to make the plasticization of the material more uniform. In addition, different parts of the screw are designed with different thread structures and parameters, which further enhances the shearing and mixing effects on the material.
  • Heating and cooling control: The barrel is usually equipped with a cast aluminum heater to heat the material to the required plasticizing temperature.
